Daniel Maughan is a consultant psychiatrist in general
adult psychiatry. He has been awarded the Royal
College of Psychiatrists Presidents Medal for services
to psychiatry and is involved with mental health
research at Oxford University. Alongside working
privately, he also works in the NHS in Oxfordshire. He
is passionate about supporting people to understand
their mental health problems and find the right
combination of treatments to achieve recovery. He
has a wealth of experience in caring for people across
the adult age range (18-65 years).

Appointments and Fees
Initial assessments are 60 minutes and follow up appointments are 30 minutes If you are self-
funding, the initial assessment is £400 and follow ups are £250 each. If you are under health
insurance, Dr Maughan will charge at the rate agreed with the insurer.
