It can be difficult to find the right help when thinking about dealing with distressing and upsetting issues, or looking to reassess your priorities in life. At Marlow Psychology our aim is to equip you with psychological skills to help you manage current and future problems/situations, enabling you to bring about change in your life and take it in the direction that you choose. We are an independent psychology practice committed to providing professional, effective and personalised psychological assessment and treatment services. We offer modern, brief and best practice treatment approaches, for adults with a range of difficult personal and interpersonal problems and psychological health conditions. Working within a respectful and confidential environment, we take a collaborative approach, so you will at all times have a clear idea of how things are progressing.
Regardless of the issue, our aim is to help you gain a better understanding of your problem. Together we will work with you on developing ways to manage and overcome the difficulty, and give you the skills and strategies needed to deal with issues into the future. At Marlow Psychology, we only use evidence based treatment approaches that are validated by scientific research, and endorsed by the government’s NICE guidelines. The main approach that we use is Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) which forms the basis for all of our treatment planning. However we do not advocate a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach, and we will adapt our approach by utilising our skills and integrating psychological treatment approaches to suit your individual circumstances, your presenting problems, and your responsiveness to each session.
