Tim is a registered Counselling Psychologist. He holds a clinical post within the NHS working in adult mental health combined with a busy private practice. He is an experienced clinician with specialist skills in delivering evidence-based psychological interventions using a wide range of proven therapies including CBT, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness and Schema Therapy as well as other approaches dependent on the client’s needs and goals.

He has worked in a wide range of settings from hospitals and community mental-health clinics to secondary schools and mental health charities. He also lectures on doctoral and postgraduate psychology programmes at City University London.

Tim comes from a business background so has a real-life understanding of the complexities of modern life, the impact of work-related stress and the pressures of finding a healthy work/home balance. He has specialist expertise in burnout and workplace resilience, helping to provide support and advice both to individuals and the organisations they work for.

He has experience working with clients presenting with a wide range of psychological issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, phobias, grief, PTSD, psychosis, self-esteem issues, relationship problems and many more.

Tim is passionate about delivering exceptional care and promoting emotional and psychological wellbeing. Above all, he aims to provide a safe, supportive and confidential space for clients to explore whatever difficulties they are facing in their lives, working collaboratively with a proactive focus on problem-solving.
